>PHYSICAL INFORMATION

»Summary: An androgynous existence with puzzling features. Overall, he seems to be a horned, winged raven with an elliptical body resembling the poles and base of a lamp post, wearing a plain black sleeveless jacket/vest. He seems to have a mask-like face that resembles a crow's skull, as well as a plague doctor's mask, especially with his goggles. Although at first glance, he may not seem to have ears; however, the headset-like horns are actually a part and extension of his ears that helps him hear sounds even in far distances, up to 350 feet radius. Poe wears a stylized conductor's hat embed with a purple crystal that he rarely takes off, if not never. 

Ever since a certain incident long ago, Poe began to wrap numerous leather straps around his entire neck, while wearing a somewhat large pendant of the head of a lamp. Inside the lamp resides a will-o'-the-wisp with a purple coloring and sheen that is mostly dormant as a small, flickering flame inside the pendant. When awakened, it quickly changes into a vigorous orb of flame that often escapes the lamp to attack its enemies. 

»Voice: Poe's voice is a modulated and somewhat soft-spoken. It is a bit muffled and "glitchy", like a static-y television malfunctioning, as well as having a metallic, hollow, and ringing tone, with seemingly two or three voices that speaks in unison.

       -Additional Information: Poe is generally pleasant and tries his best to be kind to everyone. However, as he is often far too patient and tolerant, often not expressing his true feelings, a very harsh and cruel alter ego was created. The alter-ego (that's also a inner side of him) rarely does anything until Poe's mental health is quite low or if he is exhausted. When Poe is in a not so good condition, his sinister and vengeful side of him starts whispering horrible thoughts and suggestions to him, additionally giving him a foggy mind and a headache. Poe tries his absolute best to push them away, but he is often overwhelmed by them, and this causes him to fall into depression and anxiety that was deep within him.

-The Wisp often talks to him through telepathy, usually suggesting options or advice to him. 
-Poe absolutely hates absolute darkness although he does like the night and dusk, which is quite ironic.
-Poe often has moderately irrational fears, such as catching a deadly disease, or being afraid of some creatures varying on the situation.
-He is intuitive and has a good "feeling" of people and places
-Enjoys writing and reading thought-provoking literature, hence his namesake.
-In the past, Poe used to guide lost souls back to the afterlife.

»Weapon: 

Poe's pendant is often used to ward off weak, hostile spirits and can work as a slight good-luck charm. The Wisp inside the lamp is always active, unless Poe is greatly weakened or in the brink of death. It also gives off light, which is quite convenient. If there are stronger but weak enemies, the Wisp inside the lamp escapes the lamp and lashes out at them, burning their bodies and souls. 

Encountering much stronger opponents shifts the pendant into an actual lamp post with a blade attached to the end, acting and functioning like a spear. In this mode, the Wisp is much more active and volatile with its attacks, varying from coating the weapon and/or Poe with its fire to a fire with a definitive form such as a feral beast. The Wisp can often defend itself using a wall of fire that absorbs attacks to an extent. However, the stronger Poe's weapon becomes, the more fragile it is, and the regeneration time often takes quite a while. Additionally, this offensive mode also drains both the Wisp and Poe mentally and physically. In order to access this form, the Wisp either requires freshly harvested souls or has to borrow a soul of a living plants or animals as a fuel to burn up.

"Goodbye."
 
This was the final word Poe heard until he succumbed into a blissful oblivion of absolute darkness. Somehow, the darkness was comforting, and did not evoke the usual emotions of intense anxiety and hysteria. After what seemed an eternity yet only a matter of seconds, Poe opened his eyes he did not remember closing and saw a flash of blue all around him. 

Allowing his eyes to adjust to his surroundings, Poe soon realized that he was in a forest that was rather calming and peaceful, with a light atmosphere of happiness. He knew that he soon had to at least do something, but Poe pushed that aside to bask and enjoy wherever he now was. 

Much to his slight annoyance however, something soft and light landed on his hat, and scrambled around until it chose a spot it liked. 
Glancing above, Poe soon faced a fluffy, yellow insect that was staring at him with wonder and curiosity. 

"Ah... Hello." He started. "Is there anything that you need?" 

The insect then grinned brightly and piped, "Ah! You're finally awake! You've been asleep for so long that everyone was getting worried, and some thought that you were dead! At first you seemed pretty scary and mean, but you actually seem pretty nice and friendly. Welcome to Blue's Nest; its a homely and nice place, isn't it?"
